About the Lady Visitor Project
The Lady Visitor Project is a resource to help high-achieving women in male dominated fields overcome the challenges of having no role models or mentors, so they can confidently make their ideas heard, have a significant impact in the jobs they love, and get the recognition and respect they deserve.
As an engineer in manufacturing, I have been the only woman in the room for most of my career. Despite my credentials (a Ph.D. from Penn State and an MBA from MIT), I have often felt like I don’t belong.
I managed to push through moments of self doubt, disappointment, and loneliness to keep doing the work that I love. But it was hard because there were no role models for me to turn to and no work friends for me to commiserate with.
After years of frustrating trial and error, I figured out how to make an impact and command respect. I only wish I had figured it out sooner.
The Lady Visitor Project is the resource I needed years ago.
I need your help to make it truly impactful.
